“My motivation for registering for the conference was twofold. First, as an MLIS student, the idea of being able to connect classroom concepts and ideas to real-world practice and learn from others within the field is exciting. The second reason is the ability to connect with others who appreciate the field, especially since we are still navigating through COVID-19.
I think it’s important to attend conferences like this because it gives people a chance to connect with one another, share new ideas, learn new things and overall just try and make the world of books and libraries stronger and reach more people.”
