Exhibitor Presentation Opportunities

Are you an Exhibitor who would like to offer educational programming at the 2021 ALA Annual Conference?

Submit an ERT (Exhibitor’s Round Table) Program

The ERT Education Committee comprised of ALA librarian members will determine selection of programs based on individual program proposals.

Proposals will be evaluated according to the following criteria:

  • Degree to which purpose and objectives in the presentation offers up-to-date information on current issues faced by library and information professionals.
  • Quality of program presentation and scope
  • Relevance to target audience
  • Creativity with proposed presentation, marketing, etc

The submission site will open soon.  You will be prompted to log in with your existing ALA username and password or create a new login.

Live Stage Presentations in the Exhibit Hall

Usually panel presentations, these are 45-minute sessions which can include an autographing session after the presentation. These opportunities can promote exhibitors' products, service, and authors. Follow this link for an overview of the stages. Stage submissions will open in early March.

Develop and conduct your own session

Exhibitors may reserve meeting rooms in the ALA block of meeting rooms at the convention center and official hotels. These sessions will be included in the official program, but exhibitors will be responsible for some expenses and should also promote the session on their own.

Sponsor a Keynote Speaker

Names submitted for consideration should be authors or library experts who will be of interest to the ALA members. These names should be able to draw attendance of 1,000+. The exhibitor will bear all costs associated with the speaker’s attendance. Names submitted are sent to an ALA panel for review and recommendations. Professional or motivational speakers on generic topics are usually not considered.
